Dark Mode Off / On

If you’re like me, you’re tired of buying skincare products full of long lists of chemicals or unknown ingredients. I’ll admit, I used to purchase these products because they were what I saw in stores and advertised everywhere. Since becoming a mom, I’ve become more conscious of what I put on my body and now seek out non-toxic skincare products.

You work hard and deserve quality products! Remember, taking care of yourself is an important form of self-care for moms. Here’s a list of four companies that I trust and use personally.

Rowe Casa Organics

I discovered Rowe Casa Organics when someone recommended their products in a Facebook group. Let me tell you, saying I’m obsessed is an understatement. They offer not only non-toxic skincare but also products for wellness, kids, cleaning, and even pets.

What I love most is that this company was founded by two sisters, Jill and Alicia, who were frustrated by the lack of transparency and truly healthy options. Their mission is to provide safe, natural, and effective products, and I wholeheartedly believe in what they offer.

Rowe Casa Organics non-toxic products

I’m excited to share the products I’ve purchased and love from Rowe Casa Organics from their skincare line. What I especially appreciate is that their skincare products are non-comedogenic, so they don’t clog pores.

Rowe Casa Organics products are on the pricier side since they’re natural, safe, and non-toxic. I highly recommend following their Facebook group, website, and Instagram account, as they frequently post about sales. You can also subscribe to their emails so you don’t miss any updates.

Another great feature is their rewards system: when you review the products you purchase, you earn points that can later be redeemed for discounts on your next order.

Frownies

If you haven’t heard about Frownies yet, you need to check out their website. One day, my friend mentioned she was using facial patches, and as you know, smart devices seem to hear everything, soon I started seeing ads for Frownies.

Frownies products

I decided to give them a try and purchased the following non-toxic skincare products, and I’m so glad I did:

Frownies Facial Patches

If you’re like me and prefer to avoid Botox and fillers, you might want to give these a try. This isn’t a quick fix like Botox, it takes time and consistency to see results. If you’re wondering whether I still have wrinkles, I’ll be honest: yes, I do. But they’re not as prominent as others my age who don’t use any products.

What I love: Frownies facial patches train my facial muscles to stop squinting constantly, which can cause more wrinkles. They help smooth current wrinkles and prevent new ones from forming.

Another thing I love is that Frownies is a multigenerational business that started with the grandmother of Helen, the current CEO. When you follow Frownies on Instagram, you’ll see Helen, a mom like you, being transparent, approachable, and graceful about aging. I’ve even sent her questions, and she personally replies with audio messages!

Other Frownies Products I Love

Other products I have used and love are:

  • Vitamin C+E Serum (use daily)
  • Cactus Collagen Under Eye Gels
  • CHIN-UP Peptide Neck and Chin Mask
  • Forehead Serum Patch
  • Rose Water Hydrator Spray
  • Apple Stem Cell Serum

Frownies also has a rewards system. If you subscribe, you earn points that can be redeemed for discounts on future purchases.

Gin Amber Beauty

Gin Amber Beauty sells different beauty products such as serums, masks, and face creams, but she is mostly recognized for her dermarollers.

Followe Gin Amber Beauty on Instagram. I also love Gin Amber’s personality. Since she’s now a mom, I feel even more connected to her journey. Another thing I appreciate is that Gin Amber and Helen (from Frownies) help promote each other’s products, supporting each other’s businesses while sharing great non-toxic skincare with their audiences.

Dermaroller

I was hesitant to try Gin Amber’s dermaroller a couple of years ago, until I finally had the courage to purchase it. I love that Gin has so many videos explaining how to use the dermaroller correctly, helping to avoid injuries, rashes, or other concerns.

Main benefits if used consistently:

  • Boost collagen production
  • Enhance absorption of active ingredients by 80%
  • Improves acne scars, wrinkles and fine lines, volume loss, rosacea and discoloration, uneven texture, big pores, and hair loss

Dermarollers come in different sizes and for different concerns, and there’s even one designed for the body. Gin Amber also offers a spray called Natural Foam Therapy to disinfect your dermaroller.

Pure Haven

I stumbled across Pure Haven while looking for a hyaluronic acid product. What really impressed me is that they not only source their ingredients but also formulate and manufacture over 95% of their products in their own USDA Certified Organic facility.

Their mission is all about transparency, educating moms like us on the risks of toxic products and offering safe, non-toxic alternatives we can actually trust.

Hyaluronic Acid

Pure Haven Hyaluronic Acid

The Hyaluronic Acid serum is lightweight and non-oily, made with hibiscus, linden, and calendula. It:

  • Hydrates dry skin
  • Helps restore elasticity
  • Reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

This is the only product I’ve purchased so far, and I use it daily. However, Pure Haven offers a wide range of other products, including:

  • Skin Care
  • Makeup
  • Body Care
  • Baby Care
  • Hair Care
  • Sun Protection
  • Houselhold
  • Essential Oils
  • Pet Care

Final Thoughts

Exploring brands like Rowe Casa Organics, Frownies, Gin Amber, and Pure Haven has shown me that non-toxic skincare products can be effective, safe, and enjoyable to use. Choosing products made with natural ingredients not only supports your health but also helps you feel confident about what you’re putting on your skin.

If you’re ready to make the switch, start with a few trusted non-toxic skincare products and gradually build a routine that works for you.

Best wishes,

Mel
